Roasting is the choice method of cooking at Real Food Eatery. It's an excellent way to achieve caramelization when cooking vegetables and meats. It's also easy to do and hard to screw up. For these reasons, we believe roasting is a great method for reheating our food.

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 425.

Step 2

Arrange proteins and/or roasted vegetables on a sheet pan. Pro-tip: For easy clean-up, line the sheet pan with foil or parchment paper. If you skip the liner, we suggest a very think layer of EVOO to prevent sticking.

Step 3

Pop the sheet pan into the oven for 6-10 minutes, until hot, fork tender and slightly browned.

Step 4

If you opted for a grain base, transfer them to a microwave safe bowl and add a tablespoon of water. Microwave on high for 30 seconds. Check for doneness and add increments of 30 seconds if they are not heated through. Pro-tip: Add a light drizzle of EVOO for extra flavor boost.  If you opted for a greens base, place them in a bowl and drizzle with the included lemon vinaigrette.

Step 5

When your proteins and vegetables are finished reheating, remove from oven serve atop or aside your base.

Step 6

Add sauce wherever you see fit. Our sauces are designed to be versatile, complimenting all of our dishes in different ways. You can pour the sauce over the food or leave it in the container to dip.
